In the last 6 weeks we’ve re-invented our processes and procedures over and over again in an effort to serve our community in the safest, most effective way possible. This includes continual revisions to our recored keeping so we can keep you all informed. We’ve seen familiar faces with new needs and new faces with new needs. To date 43% of households we’ve served through our Community Cupboard have had their grocery needs impacted by COVID-19. And 50% of all financial requests have been prompted by virus-related job loss. These percentages represent people who, despite not having the actual virus, are suffering in a different way because of it.
